〜ショパンゆかりのポーランド、フランス両国の大使館が贈る、記念年の幕開けを祝う一夜
2月24日は、1818年にワルシャワでわずか8歳のショパンが初めて公開演奏を行った日です。このすばらしい日にショパン生誕200年記念年のオープニングを飾るコンサートを開催します。
会場では2010年に日本で行われる、数多くのショパン関連公演情報をご紹介するとともに、ショパン・イヤーにおける ポーランドとフランス両国の取り組みをご案内します。
また、ポーランド、フランスからのピアニストが登場、ショパン作品からインスパイアされた、ユニークなパフォーマンスが繰り広げられます。日本国内ではなかなか聴くことのできない、現代に生きるショパンの音楽をお届けする貴重な機会となります。ショパン・イヤーの幕開けをぜひ皆さまご一緒にお祝いしましょう。

YKEDA DUO has specialised in performing piano music for four hands (although they also play on two pianos). They are devoting their enormous respective talents to the celebration of this rich and exciting repertoire, and are now considered as its most outstanding proponents. Tamayo and Patrick will be taking on the artistic direction of the "Musiques Festiv" festival in Bordeaux (France) and Yokohama (Japan).

LESZEK MOZDZER an outstanding pianist, composer and producer is widely considered to be the greatest revelation of the Polish jazz of the last decade. Born in 1971, he has played the piano since the age of five. On many occasions Mozdzer recorded film music with Zbigniew Preisner. He also regularly works with Jan Kaczmarek. Improvisations on the themes by Fryderyk Chopin have strengthned his position of the artist and ranked him among the most oustanding individualities and virtuosos of the European jazz.
