Julia’s Corner ユリアのコーナー Kącik Julii

Hello!

Welcome to my corner at the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan.

My name is Julia and I’m 22 years old.

I started getting interested in Japan when I was a small kid. I used to watch the cartoons on TV like Sailor Moon or Slayers.

Then, when I was 12, my mother got me my first manga. A few years later I decided to learn Japanese and that’s how it all started.

I got interested in Japanese culture, music, fashion, traditions and so on. I even launched my first youtube channel and started to record short video blogs in Japanese.

When I was 17 I got an invitation to visit Japan to take part in a TV singing contest called Nodojiman: The World! (by Nippon Television Network Corporation, website in Japanese: http://www.ntv.co.jp/nodo/)

It was a great experience and ever since I have been completely devoted to sharing my passion for Japan.

I am also a singer so I sometimes travel to Japan to sing Japanese songs there.

Right now I have two YouTube channels; one is in Japanese and the other one is in Polish.

My main goal is to strengthen the relations between Poland and Japan through teaching the Japanese people about Poland as well as introducing more and more Japanese elements into culture of Poland.

I would like to invite you to follow my activities through watching my videos. Also, please visit my blog and find me on Facebook.
