Since 2003, we have been a member of the Star Alliance – the world’s largest airline alliance offering worldwide reach and top-quality ground and in-flight service.
Our Star Alliance partnership enables frequent LOT travellers to enjoy an array of benefits ,among others, dedicated business lounges and fast tracks at most airports in the world. Miles awarded for flights in loyalty programs can be exchanged for tickets on all other Star Alliance members.
Connecting Asia and Europe!
We will connect Europe with Tokyo, Seoul and Bangkok – starting from 2016.
As one of the largest airlines in the region, we offer flights to over 55 cities in the world. Additionally, we are the only carrier in Central and Eastern Europe that offers long-haul flights – we fly directly to New York, Chicago, Toronto and Beijing. Our long-haul connections are operated with state-of-the-art aircraft – the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Tokyo – Warsaw
New flights between Tokyo and Warsaw provide the fastest connection to this part of Europe – 11 hours 30 minutes. The first flight will take off in January 2016. The Tokyo-Warsaw route will be operated 3 times a week.

Budapest – The capital of Hungary is magical! The banks of the Danube – Buda and Pest – are connected by the historic Chain Bridge. It is a must-see! The Old Town is delightful with its magnificent buildings and greenery.
Vienna – A visit to the capital of Austria should start at the town house, where Sigmund Freud lived and worked. And then let’s waltz! Vienna symbolises the world’s greatest composers, from Mozart to Haydn and Beethoven.
Paris – When in Paris, you must see the Eiffel Tower and have a baguette. The capital of France is a city of museums, where you can get lost for hours. You should also stop at a café and engage in reflection like Jean-Paul Sartre or Simone de Beauvoir.

Poland is a country of hospitable people, where tradition mixes with modernity. It offers great business opportunities and wonderful still to be discovered holiday destinations.
Warsaw – The vibrant metropolis fascinates with its diversity. It is not only the capital of Poland, but also the capital of Fryderyk Chopin’s music, with even street benches playing his tunes. Warsaw boasts the famous monument of the composer in the Łazienki Park and the amazing Fryderyk Chopin Museum. The Old and the New Town streets are a perfect place for sightseeing.
Cracow – The former capital of Poland is famous for the magnificent Wawel castle – the seat of the first rulers of Poland. Cracow Market Square is a unique place full of fantastic buildings dating back to the 13th century and charming cafés. Cracow is considered the cultural capital of Poland.
Gdańsk – The coastal city boasts its historic Old Town. The symbol of Gdańsk is the Fountain of Neptune. The Gdańsk Shipyard, the symbol of the Solidarity movement, was the former workplace of Lech Wałęsa, the first president of Poland after the fall of communism.
Wrocław –one of the most developed Polish cities. The 2016 European Capital of Culture combines Medieval heritage with modernity. In the city, referred to as Venice of the North, a number of canals intersect, offering a perfect spot for a stroll.
Boeing 787 Dreamliner
We were the first European airline to introduce the world’s most comfortable, state-of-the-art aircraft to its fleet – the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It is the only aircraft dedicated exclusively to the route to Japan. The features of the plane have opened a new chapter in 21st century air travel. Seating 252 persons, it was designed so that passengers could enjoy the flight and experience the magic of flying on a completely new level.
On European routes, our passengers will fly onboard either Boeing 737, Embraer or Bombardier.
We are presenting new travel classes adjusted to the needs of all passengers.
High travel comfort also in economy class. Comfortable seats feature footrests and headrests that make a long flight relaxing. Each guest has an individual entertainment system with a wide range of movies, TV series, games and music.
LOT Premium Class is a new class with higher standard at an affordable price.

In our Business Class we offer the highest comfort on the ground and in the air. The complete set of privileges and travelling comfort aboard our new Dreamliners will make all passengers discover a totally new dimension of travelling. Our Business Class offers:
- A separate, spacious, high-standard cabin with 18 seats only
- Seats reclining to flat-bed position enabling comfortable journeys in private atmosphere
- Priority check-in, fast track, and priority boarding to minimize time spent at the airport
- Business lounge enabling work or relaxation while waiting for the flight
During the flight, we offer a selection of meals from a new menu created by our top chefs to satisfy the most demanding tastes. The menu is supplemented by the wine card selected by our elite sommeliers.

Japanese in-flight delicacies
Our LOT in-flight restaurant guarantees delicious meals, carefully selected fresh ingredients and the best service.
During our flights, we offer Japanese dishes made with top-quality ingredients. The menu was prepared by Japanese chefs, who made sure our passengers enjoy the meals prepared according to traditional Japanese recipes. The menu includes Japanese starters, soups, salads and main courses, as well as Japanese beverages. All meals are served on special tableware with chopsticks. Additionally, passengers can also choose from European dishes, so that everyone can savour the flavours of their choice.
Have fun during your flight!
We offer in-flight Japanese films. The whole entertainment system is available in the Japanese language. During the flight, passengers can also get to know Polish culture – LOT has prepared classic Polish films translated into Japanese.
Japanese service
The comfort of our passengers is guaranteed by our Japanese-speaking crew. Each cabin crew member has been specially trained and is familiar with Japanese customs.
