Regional Forum: Poland-Japan 2009

Between 8-10 October, 2009 the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Japan will held an event promoting an exchange between the regions in Poland and in Japan. It is the first event of this sort planned by Poland in Japan.

The project is addressed to the Japanese and Polish local authorities, local business communities, clusters and technological parks interested in tightening their relations with partners in the field of economy, tourism and culture.

Program of the Forum:

8 Oct, 2009 (Thursday)
13:30 – 17:00 – Policy workshop on regional cooperation between Poland and Japan (representatives of Polish local authorities and supporting institutions only)
The policy workshop will be held in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Japan. This workshop is limited to representatives of Polish local authorities and Japanese supporting institutions. They will try to identify fields and measures supporting development of regional cooperation.

9 Oct, 2009 (Friday)
10:00 – 16:30 Promotional seminar (access under registration)
The seminar will be held in JBIC. Representatives of Polish regions will provide the Japanese partners with a first-hand information on opportunities for cooperation in different fields of activity. The schedule of the seminar is as follows:

13:00 – 17:00 Open-air festival in Ebisu Garden Place (free access)
The Regional Forum will be concluded by the open-air festival held in Ebisu Garden Place on October 10th. Everybody is welcome to participate in the festival without a registration.
