A Business Seminar on Poland “A Global Strategy Starting in Central and Eastern Europe” was held at the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry” on June 4, 2008 (Wednesday).

With its high leveld of education and large market of over 38 million people, Poland is a very attractive target for global investors. Many Japanese companies entered the Polish market totaling over 200 as of May 2008. After joining the Schengen Treaty group of countries, Poland has become even more attractive from the perspective of economic development.

The aim of this seminar was to introduce the most ipmportant issues about Poland and to businesses and investors interested in entering this very attractive market place. The seminar was followed by a reception where participants talked directly with the speakers and exchanged their views.
