It is well known that there is fierce competition in Central and Eastern Europe to acquire talented scientific personnel on a global scale. Countries such as Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia are particularly rich in producing talented IT specialists. Many Japanese companies are interested in IT talent in the Central and Eastern European region, and for example Mynavi Co., Ltd., the second largest staffing company in Japan, has expanded into Poland, it’s first leg in the EU and is increasing its activities in order to acquire IT talent. At the same time Poland has been attracting attention as a technology and business hub in the region.
